Hello, I have an old computer and am considering replacing the hard drive with an ssd drive.  Will this make your program respond faster?  Have you ever compared the 2 styles of drives?  I currently have me Cleric box on it but it can't keep up with heals, but it did fine with my Druid box nukeing and as a backup heal. My other box computers drive crashed that's why I switched my Cleric to this computer.

Hey there, SSD drives are nice but the cleric assistant is only a 500kb (1/2 meg) program. It does very little disk usage. It is loaded into memory at the start and that is it.

The game though, that is completely different story. The fresh install of windows will help a lot usually as well as a faster drive. Be sure to find and install the drivers for the SSD.

Still, the biggest bang for the buck is always RAM. Anytime that you can, especially on a game machine, max the memory in the machine.

Within OS limits of course. Windows XP (32) will only support 4 GB of memory. You need x64 to go above that.

I already have 8 Gigs of ram, the problem is the processer it's a 1.3 dual core soldered in so i can't upgrade it. It just can't move fast enough to keep up with heals. It worked fine with the Druid but that was mainly damage. I was hopeing a ssd would help but I don't want to waste money if it won't.
